A Plan for Positive Influence on Team Behavior
The success of a business depends on how successfully the business functions; whereas, the efficiency in the business's operations depends on the personalities and perceptions of its employees. The personalities and attitudes of an employee could be affected by numerous variables, e. g., the values and vision with the company by which they function. According to Amos and Weathington (2008) " The concept of P-O match is important to organizations because it suggests that if people in shape well with an organization, they are really likely to demonstrate more positive perceptions and manners. вЂќ (P-O) means Person-Organization, which suggests that employees favour a work environment that has qualities associated with their own. A work environment that is enlightening will be more good for worker satisfaction and positive efficiency. The relationship between an employee and his or her respective business can reflect parallel behaviours between them. In respect to Amos and Weathington (2008) " When an employee's values match those of an organization-and those of their particular colleagues in the organization-the beliefs are said to be congruent. вЂќ Therefore , it is important that teammates possess similar principles when working together to complete an objective. Once values are not congruent in a team, the team will take advantage of assessing specific attitudes and values, and develop a want to help aid constructive impact. Upon designing a plan to improve employee performance, it is important to assess the work environment's ability to give sufficient tools, materials, items, and gear (Robbins & Judge, 2007). As previously mentioned, assessing a person's attitude and values may help foster great behavior. Half a dozen assessment equipment have been formed to help with this process.
