The new Lord with the Flies can be quite a violent like story. Almost all throughout the story, William Golding does a good-job of exhibiting how Rob and Jack quarrel among each other if who is going to take charge and who will be the leader to keep things in order. William Golding uses the struggle intended for power to show the different factors of good and evil throughout the novel Master of the Lures. The topic Struggle pertaining to Power performs a huge portion between Ralph and Jack port which causes them and the young boys to act in savagely ways.
The constant battle for power contributes to a debacle in their group on the island. Struggle for electric power in the beginning of Lord from the Flies is principally between Jack and Ralph. Golding illustrates this the moment Jack says " I actually ought to be main because, I am just chapter chorister and brain boy, ” (14). This shows that Jack port is determined to be the leader regardless of what everyone else says and therefore displaying his persona as being incredibly controlling. As a result, the boys vote Ralph to be key which makes him lead in a more reliable method. Now Rob portrays an illustration of this a true leader. He shows his daring and great leadership abilities when he says " I'm chief. I am going to go. May argue…You. Cover here. Wait for me” (114). Jack is very determined to steal the management from Ralph and is constantly on the do so throughout the novel. A unique event exhibiting this is when Jack port says " He's not really a hunter.
